The week was organised by Salcombe Island Cruising Club and gives both children and adults a chance to experience water sports in a safe and controlled area with qualified instructors at a very low price.

On Wednesday 3rd June 2009 22 young leaders from across Torbay attended the Royal Life saving Society Young Leaders Rookie Lifeguards Award held at Torbay Leisure Centre.
