Ok, it's almost time! The 2010 Herald Express School Games are almost here! Just one more week for schools to select their teams.
In celebration of the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Dehli the Torbay School Games will be centred around the sports and ethos of these games
‘To promote a unique, friendly, world class Commonwealth Games and to develop sport for the benefit of the people, the nations and the territories of the Commonwealth, and thereby strengthen the Commonwealth’
The most talented and determined young people in Year 6, 7 and 8 will come together to demonstrate their ability and sportsmanship in eight selected sports
Each of the events will be run by talented Sports Leaders from around Torbay
The following sports will be contested:
Archery
Athletics
Boccia
Kabaddi
Rifle Shooting
Short Tennis
Table Tennis
Triathlon
